LAS VEGAS — GoodShot Films has officially wrapped production on the Ride or Lied movie, a new Vegas Stories film coming to Vegas Stories TV.

Shot in Las Vegas with a local independent cast and crew, Ride or Lied is another step in the growing Vegas Stories universe — original movies made in the city, by people from the city, and distributed through an independent platform built to give those stories a home.

The Cast of Ride or Lied Movie

Bringing the story to life is a Las Vegas cast featuring Skyler Symone, Binky The Body, Jameil Woods, R Smooth, and Sands Love.

Each member of the cast brought something different to the production, helping turn characters that existed on the page into the people audiences will meet on screen.

This production was about more than simply getting the scenes shot. It was about building chemistry between the actors and creating a world that feels lived-in, unpredictable and authentically Vegas.

Behind the Camera

Ride or Lied was written, directed and produced by Evan Wilson through GoodShot Films, with Ro Hall working alongside the production as DP, Jasmine Mathis serving as Production Manager, and Davion Snoddy capturing professional photography of the cast.

Working with a small independent team means everybody has to contribute. From preparing the locations and performances to lighting, camera, production and everything happening between takes, Ride or Lied was built through that collaborative effort.

Keeping the Police Scenes Authentic

A special thank you goes to Frank Rose, who came through as the production’s weapons and police-procedure consultant. Frank worked with the cast to help make sure the actors portraying law enforcement understood proper weapon handling, police terminology, and how officers communicate and move during a scene. His guidance helped bring another level of authenticity to the police sequences in Ride or Lied.

What Is Ride or Lied?

At the center of Ride or Lied is a question:

When everything goes wrong, who is really going to ride with you — and who is going to lie?

The story follows a situation that begins spiraling out of control, forcing friendships and loyalties to be tested as the characters deal with the consequences of decisions that can't simply be taken back.

It's a crime story, but the heart of the movie is the people caught inside it.

And like the other films under the Vegas Stories banner, this isn't the tourist version of Las Vegas.

It's the neighborhoods, apartments, parking lots, streets and everyday places where another side of Vegas exists after you get away from the Strip.

Independent Film, Made in Vegas

Productions like Ride or Lied are exactly why Vegas Stories TV exists.

GoodShot Films can develop the story, produce it independently in Las Vegas and then have a direct path to the audience through Vegas Stories TV.

That creates opportunities for local actors, crew members, photographers, musicians and businesses while allowing the people making the movie to maintain control over what they create.

We're not waiting for somebody outside of Las Vegas to decide that our stories are worth showing.

We're making them.

That's a Wrap. Now Comes the Movie.

With principal photography complete, Ride or Lied now moves into post-production, where the footage will go through editing, sound design, music, color grading and final finishing.

Over the coming weeks, Vegas Stories TV will reveal more from the production, including official cast photography, behind-the-scenes images, the movie poster and the first trailer.

And eventually, you'll get to see what happened when everybody had to decide:

Ride... or lied?
